Engineered and constructed in 2 phases over 2 years, construction activities at Rothsay's Waste Water Treatment Plant located at their meat rendering facility in Dundas, ON were successfully completed by Raven Construction in September of 2005 in support of Rothsay meeting its environmental commitments to both the Provincial Government and local community.

Raven Construction was responsible for the design and construction of all civil, structural and architectural components of the project, including the following:

  • Aeration Basin
  • Clarifier
  • IWMS Building and Pre-Treatment Building
  • Site preparation and grading activities
  • Excavation and backfill
  • Steel driven pile installation
  • Cast-in-place concrete installation
  • Fabrication and installation of HDPE underground piping
Highlights

  • Raven Construction's largest contract award since company inception in 2003.
  • Collabrative effort by all facets of the Project (Owner, Consultants, Raven etc.) resulted in the Project being successfully completed on time and under budget, with zero recordable safety incidents and quality non-conformances.
